Solomons Christmas Walk 2024

Solomons Celebrates 43rd year of Christmas Walk on December 14th, 2024

 Dear friends,

Solomons Business Association will celebrate its 43rd year of Christmas Walk with the fabulous Lighted Boat Parade on Saturday, December 14, coordinated by Solomons Island Yacht Club, Solomons Yachting Center,  and Southern Maryland Sailing Association. The parade will begin at dusk and end along the Riverwalk at approximately 7:15 p.m. A captain’s meeting covering the route, safety issues and rules for judging will begin at 5:15 p.m. at the Solomons Yachting Center. Contact at fcsiyc@gmail.com or call Fleet captain on 667-256-6272

Our house and business decorating theme this year will be Santa. Photography will commence 12/9 until 12/21 and added to SBA FB page. Decorated houses and businesses in Solomons will be scored and voted on by the public on our FB page. Final tally is Saturday December 21st at which time winners will be announced. Starting December 3rd, we will be watching as the decorations go up and adding them to our SBA FB page. Extra points will be garnered if elements of our theme ‘Santa’ is included.
